Her affair is with a married man. I agree with you about getting out of a terrible marriage, but Corey Lewandowski has a wife. That's collateral damage. This appears to be a case where a messy divorce would likely threaten her political career, so it's not shocking this happens right after she leaves politics.

She was doing just fine as Governor of South Dakota. Made no sense to me why she would be nominated for a job she was totally unqualified and unprepared for. And in addition to blowing Corey Lewandowski, she blew hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on commercials of her riding horses.
