This announcement is currently aggregating everywhere yet I don't see it on the SCOTUS page...

That is certainly bad news for the majority of this board.

She sure is a tenacious old bag, I’ll give her that.

bullshite.

She may have a clean bill of health for now but she still has to have checkups the next few years. And there’s always a possibility of a spot showing up somewhere else.

Went through this with a relative. Colon cancer removed, clean for 1-2 years, spot on liver removed, chemo and radiation, somewhat cleared, brain tumor, game over.

Just because the margins were good and it looked clear doesn’t mean it hasn’t spread.

The vast majority of people on this board wished her the best.

I can't find the SCOTUS spokesperson saying this anywhere yet.

At her age, she knows shes close to paying the piper. You'd be nervous too if you had her fate coming.

1 - cancer dies when the body dies

2 - they would say this even if the doctor said there was more cancer then anything else in her body

3 - anyone who has ever had cancer or knows anyone who has will tell you that comment "Justice Ginsburg Has No Remaining Cancer" is a lie because cancer can never be eradicated fully, it can only be controlled or rendered as dormant, only death can kill cancer permanently

I wish her good health and hope she lives forever. But it's time to realize that the Supreme Court is a full time job and a young and healthy justice is needed to serve this nation and the courts.

If she really believes in an independent judiciary, she should retire and allow our President to replace her. The American people spoke when we elected Donald Trump and in the past 3 cycles for a Republican majority Senate.

I don't think people wanted her to die. Retire sure, but not die.

Literally 0 percent chance you would be saying this if the parties were flipped

Was the announcement unanimous, or along ideological lines?
