I wish her good health and hope she lives forever. But it's time to realize that the Supreme Court is a full time job and a young and healthy justice is needed to serve this nation and the courts.
If she really believes in an independent judiciary, she should retire and allow our President to replace her. The American people spoke when we elected Donald Trump and in the past 3 cycles for a Republican majority Senate.
If she wanted an evolving Constitutionalist to replace her she should've just retired when Obama was POTUS and the Dems still held the Senate, she was pretty damn old and frail then now she's trying to wait out Trump, didn't think big picture with that decision to remain, is what it is. My main thing is, if she passes with Trump in office and a Republican-majority Senate, what allegation the other side will fabricate to defame her replacement considering its RBG's seat, I presume they'll up the ante here and sustain the division that exists in this country. Its SICK how this country's deteriorated to this point.

She had surgery on the 21st of December.
"Two doctors contacted by Fox News with experience in performing pulmonary lobectomies said, given her age and procedure, a home recovery of about six-to-eight weeks is common – and they would expect the justice to be ready to resume normal duties next month."
The 15th of February will make 8 weeks since the surgery.
Public session start on Feb. 19.
If she ain't back by then, then something is up.
