Do you not remember conservatives being silenced all across social media and how some were even coerced by the government?

About 1 month before the 2018 midterm elections, Google/YouTube suddenly deleted a ton of conservative channels. For anybody to act like there is universal free speech in America, all I can say is that they better hope that the old adage "Ignorance is bliss" is true.

Although, strangely enough, none of these dysfunctional dolts ever give the appearance of being the least bit happy.

The food industry and the health industry works together in a cartel. They give you crappy food so you stay unhealthy. Its not a coincidence that the poor have the worst health rates. They need the Medicaid money to keep rolling in. Its honestly quite debolical.

These articles are all from 2004 - 2016, but I’m sure the various health associations have cleaned up their act these days.

Don’t forget to eat your coco puffs this morning. They have the AHA stamp of approval right on the box.

The AHA gets OT $$$ when they put their 'stamp' of approval on the package of food-like packaging ie the breakfast cereal Lucky Charms.

So how are they going to regulate "good food" vs "bad food"? What about granola bars, Vitamin Water, cinnamon rolls, etc? Can they buy sugar? Are we going to create a database that continues to update which food is allowed? That will take money abd personnel.

Great post. The AHA and others have been compromised (read CONTROLLED) for a long time. But the clueless wonders here will simply continue to post some vapid message like "Big Food!" with a laugh emoji and go about their day, having no idea about how blind they are concerning the world in which they live.

So you're going to rest on the perfect is the enemy of the good.

Start with soda, chips, cookies and all of the obvious. Add from there. It's not that difficult. Again, this is a handout were talking about.

There are already enough restrictions. Just give them cash.

A few minutes of research will prove it to you. Love it how smug Marxists are. They just know they’re right when mostly wrong.

It looks kind of sus. AHA receives a little bit of funding (15k?) from at least Pepsi, and argues that restrictions might discourage people from participating in SNAP, which is worse than allowing sugary drinks. https://san.com/cc/american-heart-assoc-opposes-texas-snaps-sugary-food-drink-regulations/ I don't really buy the argument, because if you actually need SNAP, you're going to get what you can from SNAP, restrictions notwithstanding.

By the way, if this is the DEEP state, it is full of conservative influencers. https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/conservative-social-media-influencers-paid-bash-rfk-jr-snap-plan/ Apparently, Big Soda thought the argument that SNAP restrictions are like Covid restrictions might resonate in red America, and paid a bunch of people to push that view.

Other countries have better success with just giving cash. Then they could use that money on things other than food like medicine, vitamins, toilet paper, rent, etc.
