Just How DEEP is the DEEP State? American Heart Assoc. Opposes TX. SNAP Bill Restricting..

....sugared drinks, chips, candy, etc. from being purchased with food stamps. Obtw, the AHA takes in a lot of money from....wait for it....the food industry.
Follow the money. It isn't just the conventional Political Establishment in Washington that's corrupt. Many of these groups like the AHA are compromised by where they get their $$$, too. There is absolutely no rational reason why the AHA should oppose a bill such as this if their #1 focus truly was the health and well-being of Americans.
5.5 minute video. BTW, imo the ccreator of this YouTube channel, Dr. Berg, routinely gives great advice regarding healthy foods, supplements, etc. if you're interested in that kind of thing.

The "obvious" is that the AHA is compromised by Big Food to the extentions that they would oppose a bill restricting welfare recipients from spending taxpayer dollars on crappy food and drink items that will both make them unhealthy and keep them unhealthy. That's what's obvious, dude.

Last October, the twin scumbags Merrick Garland and Chris Wray both talked about cracking down on "misinformation and hate speech" in the next term.
