At what point does the judge call a halt to the proceedings, and declare a hung jury? How much time is the jury allotted for deliberations?
I don't know the Wisconsin rule. Probably at the discretion of the judge.

Holy shite 16 hours of deliberations and they've got nothing. Betting the hold up is a mask wearing covidian woman with a Karen haircut who works in academia.

No way did I think this wouldn't be done in 2 days.
I'm gonna guess the hold outs are for guilty, because the case for acquittal is so cut-and-clear. At the end of trial you either knew that... or you're an idiot with an opinion outside of the evidence presented.

That 2 people think this young man is guilty of anything speaks volumes about where we are as a society.

Yessir speaks volumes about the polarization we have in the US, and the fact the two sides are too incompatible to live together.

But... Someone would have had to come into that trial with bias they are holding on to, that's for sure. There's copious reasonable doubt to the charges based on the evidence.
Honestly, my mind wasn't made up before the trial. No doubt for me now--the state did not even come close to meeting it's burden.

Is there a bigger lie than the idea that the left is all for "criminal justice reform"?

They are
They want their pedophile, woman beating, carjacking, theiving, rioting, etc. peers to get off.
They want real Americans that do none of that to be behind bars.
Its reform alright

This attorney strongly suggested very detailed and thorough jury selection and he is no longer with the defense team.
He also said jury selection lasted one day.
His point being it is very likely biased individuals made it onto the jury.

If you remember, several posters on here were saying “what the hell?! One day to impanel a jury???”
Life in prison hanging in the balance and you sit a jury in one freaking day? Crazy

The chauvin trial took over a week I believe to seat their jury.
