If there are one or two holdouts can the rest of the jury ask them to point to the specific evidence that makes them believe it’s not self defense. If those jurors refuse to answer or answer with some bull shite like I don’t like guns or he was there to start trouble can they turn that over to the judge that they are not deliberating in good faith.

Nope, they can say whatever they want and stick to that

I was listening to a recap on that and they framed Binger as pointing the gun as bait for Richards. If richards had objected or made a huge deal about it, Binger would then been able to say “see how pointing a gun at you provoked the defense counsel”? It literally would have given the prosecutions theory real live legs in front of the jury.
Excellent point. Everyone here in this thread who is protesting Binger sweeping with the AR= "I'd have ducked or spoken out" etc

that supports the prosecution's contention of provocation.

It doesn't mean Rittenhouse DID point the gun. It means if he DID, it's sufficient provocation to react.

If you react in a courtroom when you know it's clearly unloaded, you will definitely react out in the street when it's (at that point) highly suspected to be loaded.

Not if the foreman reports to the judge that they are not deliberating in good faith and have violated their oath.

This judge is in his mid-80's. It's like putting Joe Biden five years from now on the bench.

I still can't get over Binger having his finger on the trigger while pointing the gun at the jury. I know it was checked and it was cleared but still. Just horribly ignorant on how to handle a gun.

Y’all don’t think he was trying to prove his main provocation argument?

Whoever said they’d quickly duck out of the way would just be helping his point that having a gun pointed at you is terrifying.

It’s why he’s fighting so hard to lie about Kyle pointing the rifle first.

The rest of the jury can remove the foreman moniker from that person on a vote, assign a new foreman, and pass notes to the judge.

I don’t see the case they have against Roddie Bryan. That’s a political prosecution.

Now the McMichaels are in trouble but it’s crazy Roddie Bryan is facing the same charges.

This!

My dad taught me very young. Rule #1. Never point any gun at anything you don't intend to kill.

The jury has 2 more questions. We don't know what they are yet. But given they asked about watching videos earlier, I suspect they asked to see some specific ones.

I'm thinking it has to be the Rosenbaum death that is the sticking point. The other 2 are as clear as day self defense.

Why would the State not use the "HD" version of this video and image other than to lie and obfuscate about what is happening and what Kyle did.
They did use the HD version. But it’s from a drone pretty far away. And when you attempt to “zoom in”, this is where pixels get larger and you begin seeing holes/blur because the pixels completing the images don’t exist.

So they used enhancement software to “predict/fabricate” those missing pixels. And when they did this, it now made it look like Kyle was shouldering his rifle on his left shoulder and pointing it at Zeminski.

When in reality, as can partially be seen in a different video from a different angle, it appears his rifle is on the opposite arm and pointing down. But it’s difficult to make this out, too because of lighting and angle, and it’s also a few seconds after the drone footage zoom in. But Kyle begins running and the gun is clearly strapped on him for right-handed use.

During the instructions haggling session, when we all saw Kyle and the Judge together watching a TV just a few days ago, the defense noted that the quality of the drone video they were watching was significantly better than what they had. This is when they realized they were given a very compressed quality video from the prosecution in discovery.

Meaning the defense was not able to ever view the original 1080p unedited/unenhanced version. Only the enhanced 844p version and an unenhanced 212p version.

And the likely reason for this, is that in the raw 1080p version it’s probably much easier to see Kyle pointing the gun down and in his right arm, as well is quite possible able to see Zeminski pull out a gun just before Kyle turns and runs (and then Rosenbaum chases him).
