Judge spares boys jail time for filmed rape of two girls

A girl who was raped by two teenage boys has attacked a judge’s decision to spare them jail sentences as being like a “rock straight in my face”.
The victim was 15 years old when she was raped in an underpass near the River Avon in Fordingbridge, Hampshire.
The two defendants, who are now 15, were also convicted of raping a second victim at knifepoint in a field in January 2025. Another boy, now 14, was also convicted for aiding and abetting the second attack.
quote:
The boys filmed the attacks on their phones and later shared some of the footage online.
During sentencing at Southampton Crown Court on Thursday, the judge stressed the “seriousness” of the crimes and said the filming of the assaults had made them even “more serious”.
quote:
However, he said he wanted to avoid “criminalising” the “very young boys” and praised their behaviour during the trial.
quote:
The girl told the BBC that she had questioned “what was the point” of going through the trauma of the trial only for the judge to say that it was “fine” for the boys to rape her because they were “still children”.
She told Laura Kuenssberg: “The words hit like a rock straight in my face. He almost made it seem as if what the boys did was not OK, but it was OK in the eyes of the law, because they were still children.
“It meant that, why did I sit and put myself through the pain of going to court, going through a trial, reliving everything because of evidence, and watching it all happen again? It sort of gave me a sense of, what’s the point? What was the point in putting me through that just to say that it’s fine?”
quote:
She said: “What is really alarming is the judge’s comments praising these three young males for their good conduct from the charge up to the point of their sentence.

Let me guess. These "boys" aren't Caucasian?

I don't think I can type what would occur if my daughter was in that position

Probably are. It happened in Hampshire, Great Britain. I thought this might be Chicago.

The girl said they were laughing while they did it. This is disgusting!

A day of reckoning needs to happen. Need to start charging these “teens” as adults and charge their parents as well.

Families need to show the judges what’s up. Until they fear for their lives, reputation or career, nothing will change.
No disbarment. No consequence.

The court heard he had been diagnosed with ADHD as well as “long-standing anxiety”.
Welp, there it is.
We just have a mental health crisis. Can't hold anyone accountable.
Oh, this is the UK? The boys are Muslim. That clears this up. I saw Hampshire and my brain went to New Hampshire.

Judge liked what he saw on the vids, I’ll bet.

That’s what judges do, give them the hard talk in court, but then a gentle wrist slap with the sentences. I wonder if the girl has an active dad in her life, cause it’s getting to the point where vigilante justice will be a real thing again, with these justices not being justices. I fear it’s going to cost real good people their freedom, because of a corrupt system

Everyone doesn't make it out alive.

Time for Dad, Uncle, Brother, Cousins or whomever to step up take them to Coach O’s fishing hole. That’s another good thing about America. Even if you got caught, no jury would convict you, at least not in the south

I heard that the daughter met them, after engaging online. She’s lucky to be alive. This should be a lesson to all attention mining young women. FAFO.
Hopefully you are teaching your daughter about the dangers of associating with sociopathic heathen sexual predators online for attention.
The Judges are the real problem. Across the board.

I tried to research this to find out if the boys were muzzies. I still don’t know for sure because that information is being suppressed. Here is a hint, though:
“Low intelligence and limited understanding of consent” sure sounds like muzzies.
So it looks like the girl agreed to blow one of them, then when the others showed up she agreed to blow them, but she felt pressured and scared. This isn’t as clear cut as the OP makes it sound.

quote:
Jurors were told she believed they were in a relationship and agreed to go to an underpass next to the River Avon and perform sex acts on him. The victim said she was “nervous” but “comfortable” when alone with the boy because she was feeling “some love towards” him. But the court heard she became “scared and anxious” when the second boy and a third boy – not the third defendant – arrived. Jodie Mittel KC, prosecuting, said the trio began “pressuring her and they recorded her” and they were “laughing”. She said the victim went along with it because she feared being thrown into the river and felt it was “the three boys against just her”. The prosecutor added: “The word she used to describe how she was feeling was petrified. “(She) says she did agree but only because she didn’t know what would happen if she didn’t say yes.”

If this was my daughter, there would be repercussions and jail time served by me.

almost seems like judges need to feel some of the pain the victims are.

It happened in the UK why are people not surprised? Not sure why this even gets posted on here because gullible idiots think it happened here.
