I mean.. and serious question here... how, exactly, do they think Trump can "bring him back"?

-Uh yeah, is this the warden? This is President Trump. You know that MS-13 gang member went sent your way? Well, turns out, we need him back.

Probably? Come to think of it I probably saw you steal items from target last night. Should we deport you because you probably stole something?

Are you this dense? Where are you going to deport me to? Sure you can deport me to the country of my citizenship, the United States of America. You can also deport his arse to the country of his citizenship, hint it's not the United States of America...

Seems to contradict what all the idiots here are saying. But hey, he's brown, has a Latino name and it's a ruling challenging Trump - of course he's a POS scum.

Actually read about the case. It won’t kill you. He is subject to deportation and has no right to remain in the US. The only prohibition was that he not be deported to El Salvador. He can be deported anywhere else but has no right to stay here. Crazy because he is from El Salvador.

Send him to Honduras then. Or Nicaragua. Or Guatemala.

The White House had cast Kilmar Abrego Garcia, 29, as an MS-13 gang member and asserted that U.S. courts lack jurisdiction over the matter because the Salvadoran national is no longer in the U.S.

He IS a MS-13 gang member AND a drug and human trafficker.

Let the MS13 gang member rot in the prison.

Ignore the judge, he has no standing.

I suppose Trump (or somebody in ICE, etc) could technically ask for him to be returned. And that would put them in compliance.

... but if Bukele (who may legally have authority over this Salvadoran man) says no, I guess that would be that.

He doesn't get returned and no Trump officials have disobeyed.

Has it not been shown that he is indeed part of whatever gang MS13 or something along those lines? Didn't catch the full story, but they were talking about this on FOX maybe this morning?

It's been ALLEGED that he was MS13, but never ruled upon by a court.

That doesn't matter though. Whatever the merits, he is now outside the jurisdiction of US courts. The court cannot do anything to bring him back to USA.

Wait a second, you're upset that someone that was mistakenly put in a foreign prison has to be returned?

No mistake in putting a gang member or affiliate on that list

He's Salvadorean back in the home country. He came to the US illegally and was, for whatever reason, given protection against deportation. Well, that gig is up. Despite the 'administrative' error, I have no doubt he shouldn't be here and was probably involved in gang activity.

Any more questions?!?!

He was granted asylum....

but even still, he was not given due process. Even if youre going to invoke the AEA..that would be venezula not El Salvador. The White house admitted they fricked up, so yeah this is a good ruling. Unless youre a fan of trampling on the constitution and peoples rights.

Wrong. He was ordered deported. He was only prohibited from being deported to El Salvador, although DOJ does not think that bars invocation of the AEA apparently.

There was no mistake. He should have been deported and he'll stay that way.

Here's how you handle this. You fill up a plane with 200 other Salvadorians and you fly it down there and while it's in the air you take some photos and post them on social media saying "since we have to fly down and pick this guy up, we decided to round up some more illegals to fill all these seats".

Let these activist judges and their media provocateurs know that for every action they take there will be a swift and drastic countermeasure. The gloves are off.

You didn't "save" one Salvadorian, you sent 200 others home.

Let's see how long they keep playing this game of chicken before they realize they are on a tricycle and the White House is driving an armored truck.
