You've always been able to vote without an ID, you do a provisional ballot, and then the district is supposed to verify after the fact that you were indeed you said you were. The problem is this gets left to the district and is selectively enforced.

Getting it in front of Appeals court and or Supreme court to set precedent is the ultimate plan.....

Nothing wrong with strenthening ID laws, but this isn't a dismissal of citizenship requirements. You're mainstreammediaing the issue.

I figured that tweet was rage bait.

Of course it is. That is the practical effect of simply requiring attestation. You’re probably not doing yourself any favors calling others on here stupid.

Isn’t the Constitution and legal precedent pretty clear about non citizens not being allowed to vote?

So no proof required? That should be mandatory.

SFP assured me illegals don't vote so there's no need to check. People don't drive drunk either so we can dispense with all that enforcement nonsense as well

And the vote still counts because it may be discovered after the fact because you don’t need to prove you are a citizen to vote.

Democrats want to count ballots.
Non democrats want to count legal votes.
There is a huge difference between the two of them.
