Other than creating the banjo, did black people really give us country music? Where did she get that from?

I wonder how blacks invented all that music without instruments invented by whites?

Is she trying to say that white people didn’t invent the trans Atlantic slave trade? If so then I am ok with the history books being rewritten to give people of color credit for that.

Frederick Slack, a dentist, in the 1950s. After injuring one of his nails at work, Dr. Slack used dental acrylic from his office to repair it quickly. His solution proved to be sturdy, durable, natural looking. Slack was a white man and acrylic nails as we know them today are not a Black invention.

Imagine if you will. a woman who has no real life experience with chattel slavery, all she has is some twisted notion in her mind that everything that is wrong in the USA has its roots in a period of US history that ended over 160 years ago.......and you're still a slave to that history in your mind.
A little bit of advice to Joyless Reid......,

Whites invented the N word.....and now they aren't allowed to use it.

Progressive whites invented Joy Reid.
Does she really believe she ascended to her soapbox of being able to spew incendiary radical racial hatred on her own accord?

Joy Reid is a racist. One among many peddling their propaganda on the MSM. A MSM long infiltrated by an assortment of anti-American, anti-Trump, anti-White radicals.
The kind of people who rejoice over the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the brutal senseless murder of Iryna Zarutska.
Despicable, evil people.
Trump 2026 - They're really after you - I'm just standing in the way.

Now do peanut butter.
To throw her a bone over African ingenuity can I mention the origin of the Atlantic slave trade?

It's interesting... But this is the cyclical world of interactions/rage posting and it's time you realized just where your role lies in all of it.
I saw this and I thought to myself, "I can get mad about this. I bet a lot of other people are reading it, getting mad and firing off some rage response on X". But then I thought... where is she posting this from? What is her platform? Is she employed by anyone? Does she have a job?
The answer is no. She's already been fired from everything that pays her any real money. Now she's just relying on interactions and being paid by X and Youtube for clicks. She posted this for clicks. By responding to it, or sharing it, you're just the cog in the clicks wheel.
Is that really what you want to be?

Shes a myopic racist who has been amplified in her message as a result of her race

The banjo didn't really change the world but it definitely came from Africa.

You are wrong. The term "negro" originated from the Spanish and Portuguese words for the color black, derived from the Latin niger. It was adopted by European explorers, particularly the Portuguese around 1442, to describe the indigenous people they encountered in West and Southern Africa. It became widely used in English as a standard term for people of African descent from the 18th century through the 1960s, before largely falling out of use in favor of "Black" or "African American"
I would bet the the negro used the word "niggra" or the now offensive if only spoken by a non-negro "N" word, which we all "knows what is bees", word. was first coined by the slaves and is used extensively until this day by black people..
