They donate to a cause that’s aligned with their ideology. The pro-Israel donors didn’t want to subsidize Tucker Carlson appearances.

I think the issue if there is one is that CK thought these were conservative donors who happened to be Jewish or Israeli.
It became clear that the preeminent agenda for them wasn’t the conservative one but rather pro-Israeli messaging to the point that if certain talking points weren’t used they were out.
It’s impossible for me to take Levin and Shapiro seriously when they treat the conservative movement like a sugar coating to wash down an Israeli propaganda campaign.
Its certainly not any more illegal than buying ad spots on Fox, but it’s absolutely reinforcing the perception that many within the conservative movement were first and foremost Israeli mouthpieces and that the podcast space in general wasn’t organic in terms of its ideas and has become captured by advertising and donor agendas.

I’m open to that and really don’t want any foreign nations impacting our domestic political discourse.
The only evidence I’ve ever seen is a $100k check to Tucker for travel related to a podcast interview which he submitted via FARA.
Do you have other evidence to be considered?

If Kent received these texts as a part of a government investigation and then provided them to a podcaster, then I take back my defense of him relative to being an alleged leaker.
I do think Kent is bright and think he’s a patriot, but if he used his government position to receive and send communications derived solely because of his position in government in view of an investigation, then that’s a big problem and he should face consequences.
