If that was his position, he wouldn’t have said that’s a lot of jet fuel to waste.

Bet ole Troy or Joe doesn't mine the wasted jet fuel to fly their happy asses back on a private jet from wherever they are broadcasting back to TX when their weekly gig is over.

reported earlier this year that flying a squadron of fighter jets in a ceremonial fashion like that costs at least $60,000 per hour

These squads will be flying formations whether it is over a stadium or not.

And I don't believe for a second that 'hot mike' was unintentional.

I think Aikman said it as Patriotism isn’t going to happen if Biden wins. I don’t think he meant it as it was a complete waste and Biden is such a financial tightwad he wouldn’t allow that to happen.

Hard to imagine two adult men don't know that flyovers are not extra, but are part of training hours. Hasn't this been understand, well...forever?

I'm not sure this is as "common knowledge" as you are making it seem.

I didn't even listen to it and I know your response is BS.

What those dumbasses don't realize is the pilots use these fly overs for the proficiency training not to blow money.
Exactly. A few seasons ago during opening weekend for LSU baseball it was Military Appreciation weekend. Army and Air Force came to the Box. There were two flyovers for the LSU/Army and LSU/Air Force games.
I remember Mainieri explaining the flyovers must be part of those air crews scheduled flight training. If they had not been flying over Baton Rouge they would have been flying somewhere else those days.

They don't realize MacDill Air Force Base is right in Tampa. The pilots didn't have to go far.

Yes it is...

I do think that Military Pilots must maintain a specific amount of flight hours...

So only people inside the stadium see the flyover? Do they have magic glasses inside the stadium or something?

It would seem they don't want our pilots to train and gain experience. God help us if Ernest doesn't fire a missile and mistakingly hits the flares in a firefight.

100% gotta believe that was a paid advertisement. Aikman and Buck were actively paid to say that. If you watched the game there was a ton of Biden ads playing, wouldn’t be surprised if they took it to that level

Haven't watched a single snap this year for the first time since I was 6 years old. They earned every bit of my scorn.
