Cheers for him helping getting the release of Navy LT Robert Goodman a B/N for an A-6 Intruder shot down over Syria. Goodman was held prisoner for about a month. The pilot LT. Bobby Lange died in the sam attack on their jet. In perhaps his biggest real political accomplishment he did help improve our dialogue with Syria.

They were part of an impromptu strike package that was hitting Syrian AA sites near Lebanon.
