I can sort of understand the voters choosing someone who is ideologically aligned with your worldview, but it was obvious this woman isn’t qualified to do anything. She is as qualified to lead city government as she is to be an astronaut. She literally has zero experience doing anything but being an activist.

We have a weird belief that elections grant competence to officials. We are electing completely incompetent people to thousands of offices in our country and then scratching our heads as things fall apart.
