I have no kids (that I know of anyway) and the reason I haven’t is mainly for my own sanity. I was having a hell of a time when I was younger and always thought I would till one day I woke up and I was older and I was just past wanting to have any. I also had a lower back and neck injury that played a factor too. I don’t mind people with kids being in a lower tax bracket than those without honestly as long as all of us without are not punished for not having children and everyone expects those without children to pave the way for everyone else. Just be fair about it and I totally have no problem with it.

The dumb and poor reproduce the most and they already get financial incentives via welfare. Vance should talk about cutting financial incentives instead of adding to them.

What I’m saying is the government shouldn’t give a huge tax it to people with kids and then jack up the taxes on those that don’t to help with the loss of revenue. That would be wrong.
My parents divorced when I was 11 and I know parents need help. We didn’t have much. I don’t agree though just because people chose not to have kids that they should pay a huge tax rate to make up the difference. That’s not right and it’s not fair because some folks out here can’t have children for this reason or that.

Any and all tax deductions should be applauded. However, I’m against using the federal tax system to engineer behaviors. The income tax should be eliminated along with the IRS.
