JBE To Take Vatican Post End Term Early

I’ve heard through the grapevine JBE may be taking the Biden admins Vatican opening. Possibly leaving his term early. Makes sense after they broke out the Rosary’s today on Biden’s visit.

If you're a conservative, you should hope that does not happen because Fat Pinky Billy Nungesser is just as bad as JBE.
Nungesser is the most JBE friendly RINO in the state, refused to support Eddie Rispone, has never said a negative word about JBE and never showed up to the Trump rallies in 2019. He would be a lateral move at best with no change at all. It's why I did not sign the recall petition against JBE.
I would rather ride JBE out to the end of his term in 2023, avoid giving Nungesser the bully pulpit of the incumbency and we can elect a real conservative as Governor.

3rd time should be the charm and all of Louisiana should have a clear picture of what JBE's true colors is and how little he really cares about them, especially "republicans" that vote for them.
Back in 2015 when I saw that he adores Huey Long and Edwin Edwards and he was heavily backed by all the usual suspects that keep Louisiana shitty, that told me all I need to know about him and his conservative dixiecrat scam. It was disappointing that so many who called themselves conservative fell hard for a lie like that.

Billy has had his eye in the Governor's chair for years. Part of his play for it has been a deal he worked out with JBE which goes along the lines of "if you don't run against me or back any GOP candidate in 2018 against me, I'll give you a bigger role than the Lt Gov usually has". Billy agreed and that's where we are.

Chubby stayed out of the race because he cut a deal with Honor Choade. Stay far far away from the Governor’s race in return for Bel blocking any Dims from running against him for Lt. Governor, allowing him to save his pennies for the 2023 race to replace The Sloth. Totally agree, he would not be any better, in fact, he and Bel are deep into many of the same pockets (trial lawyers, commercial fishermen, River pirates)

Why would he take this position? There is no diplomatic clout in being an Ambassador to the Holy See.

Yup.
In fact, I'll go so far as to say JBE would probably be VERY comfortable taking the Vatican gig and leaving the state in, his mind, "good hands".
