What do you think the stimulus is all about, unemployment benefits, etc?

There are plenty of opportunities for you to recoup what you have lost. Tax day has been pushed back etc.

You really are selfish and pathetic. No money saved up? You cant live for two weeks without a check? Only selfish choices lead to that being a reality and so you fight that with potentially infected others so you can get paid.

Not a good look.

Get a job at Starbucks or amazon. They are surely hiring.

That's for immediate assistance and won't last long at all.

I'm employed through all of this, but my company will feel the impacts, via layoffs, for months to come.

What are the essential services?

I expect more businesses which aren't designated as "essential services" (by the state of Louisiana I guess) to be temporarily shut down on Monday.

LA does seem to have a lot of cases, just looking at the state by state map.

Data you are referencing does not tell the whole story... roughly 79% of the cases in our state is in New Orleans and the adjacent two parishes.

90% of the deaths are from the same area...

28 of 64 parishes have no cases at all....

so we are issuing a halt to 64 parishes when we are in fact should be focused on 3..

Just got the email from corporate with a letter to print out as proof that I’m an essential employee for an exempted business ... and that they’re paying me double time to come to work during the shelter-in-place order.
