That’s who we got ours from ^^
We used a 40 foot flatbed trailer across a creek on our place. It has worked well so far. Only been about a year. Tied it down with mobile home screw augers and steel cable. A place in Shreveport was selling the trailers as bridges with railings on them, so we didn’t have to do the manual labor of stripping it down ourselves. They delivered it to us in Ms for $500 I believe. The trailer itself cost $7500. I believe this was our best option.

My place just about borders southside’s bottomland to the North. From what I can tell, they get a handful of really good mallard hunts each season which is about as much as you can ask for in Mississippi in 2025. I have no idea how good their deer hunting is but there are a ton of deer in the general area and I’d imagine they have all the right habitat perfectly curated over there for raising and keeping big deer.

Lorman, Ms up against the river. My second year having this small tract. Last year there were some monsters cruising through in first half of January. This year the pigs have recently inundated and all deer activity (as far as cameras go) has ceased. Going to stop feeding except for what’s going in the hog traps. I had more deer last year without corn.
The bag is for steaming. Most chefs use parchment paper. Fill it with all the aromatics and wine and olive oil, seal shut, throw in very hot oven. This is a French method.
Dude mauls slob trout on jerk baits.

Safe Floor will outlast sea dek. I don’t think that’s a controversial position. If you’re in Mandeville you can go to Marsh and Bayou store and they have some cutouts of the material so you can put your hands on the stuff. Or come walk around on my boat.

I have safe floor. I like it a lot for my needs.

PROS: last forever. Traction is great if your slinging a bunch of slimy trout in, etc. It makes everything quieter on the boat. Nice feel on the bare feet. And my favorite attribute is it makes cleaning the inside of your boat optional for the most part.

CONS: like one guy said it isn’t the nicest feeling on your knees. I don’t spend much time on my knees in a boat though so that affects me less than 1% of the time.

Hey JP just wanted to say that in a world where duck hunting YouTube vids has absolutely exploded, you sir are making bar none the best content in that field. Thanks for entertaining us the last few years.
Best thing I have found for simplicity and agreeance with metabolism is liquid egg whites. 12 ounces plus a splash of milk makes for about 45 G protein. Take about 7 seconds to make, and tastes exactly like milk.

I had a sizable position (for me) in Mosaic Co. for a year or so. Got in at like $38 rode it down to the mid $20’s then back up to $37 or so and dipped out. Try not to buy the top like me.

Rodney. Bout a mile off the river.
Disagree I think he is one of the best on film at the moment.
Gotta get out of Louisiana to find some actual ducks to put on film.
My tenants travel all the time. Way more than us, by a factor of probably 5. They also habitually cannot afford to pay rent at the end of the month.

Maybe. Maybe not. Welcome to the stock market.

Apparently Arkansans want to do to speckled bellies what SW Louisiana did to theirs. Guess the Specks will start putting the brakes on in Missouri in the coming decade. Outfitters ruin everything fishing or hunting doesn’t matter they don’t care. Virus.
4 fish per day @ 7 days a week is way too liberal. They don’t seem to like when the season runs into the fall, which is really the only time I like going out there. But with such a liberal creel it gives the powers that be the math to justify closing earlier.

3 fish , Fri- Sunday was a sweet spot , but I know all the weekday guys don’t like that which is understandable.

Also think they should allow you to keep the 14 and 15 inchers as opposed to having a trail of dead ones floating down current from your boat. That would let guys get done and quit killing them every time they drop a squid down. My .002
