Yeah, there's no way a reasonable person would read "MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them" and not think it was a claim that the shooter was MAGA. This is an absurd assertion.

Where were these celebrities fighting for free speech when Rosanne was fired, when Rush Limbaugh was fired, when Hank Jrs Monday night football was taken off, when A&E got rid of Phil Robertson (the did reverse their decision after backlash), etc? Libs were the ones that started cancel culture. Libs were the ones that started "freedom of speech, not freedom of consequences"

Anytime something like this comes up, on both sides of the political spectrum, the biggest takeaway is how poorly educated average US citizen is in civics. Jimmy is not being jailed for what he said. The US government is not prohibiting him from making whatever statement he chooses to make. His constitutional freedom of speech was not abridged in any way. The repercussions from private industry are not protected by the 1st amendment

It's not surprising that he's coming to Kimmel's defense. He's submissive just like Kimmel is. He even allowed his writers on Ozark to even write his character as a submissive loser in that show.
