More people need to be talking about Jackson, Mississippi. The city ran out of bottled water to give residents yesterday. It’s the largest city in Mississippi. It’s 80% Black. Their water system is failing because of years of neglect. This is environmental racism.

Environmental racism ????????

Come on, maybe just maybe it’s the inept and corrupt leadership that’s been running that city for over 50 years, but I guess that’s (D)ifferent.

And yet we will still all have to foot the bill for their stupidity and corruption. The Federal and state government will have to come in and bail them out with billions of dollars from tax payers who had nothing to do with it. And no one in Jackson will even so much as lose their jobs over this.

Jackson created this problem due to incompetence, period.

The liberal administration is awful and poorly run....and it will never change.

Is “environmental racism” another phrase for “absolute incompetence” ?

Tough shite, Jackson. DWI.

I’ve been told that the people who neglected the water system… that those people can’t be racist.

I’ve been told that by blue check white chicks.

I’m so confused.

Young and stupid like usual. But she’ll get retweets and likes and feel good about herself that she “did something”, smh.

Environmental racism. Just when you think there can’t possibly be anything left they can find to play the race card….lol. Oh boy.

They’re good at taking a first world civilization and turning it into a third world cesspool. Very good at it.

AND, the citizens that elected the corrupt and inept fools that run that city, will continue to vote for them and their ilk.

They got their boondoggle convention center and brand new civil rights museum which probably could have paid for a complete revamp of the supply.

Every mayor in that city since the mid 90’s has been black. How is it racist when a municipal government with 80% black residents who elect a black mayor for 25+ straight years can’t provide basic city services? Sounds like incompetence from the elected officials to me, but I’m sure that Twitter blue checks just ignore that so they can blame racism like they do for everything else

"You're racist if you dont bail out blacks from their own decisions that I cheer them on for making!"

- Your average progressive.
