What a clown. So is he saying no one has that right? After all, if a POTUS doesn't, who does? No wonder the moron got that job!!

That is literally not what he said

He said, "We wanted to make clear that this was not about, um, trying to interfere with anyone's first amendment rights" and "fraud is not protected by the first amendment"

No. Just providing his actual quotes to counter a lie.

Funny how Mister Slowdatruthpro selectively decides what is a lie and what is a mistake.

Using credible evidence to support my argument helps, especially in the face of sides without it.

Smith: "A statement made with know falsity is not protected by the First Amendment."

ToD: "I have no understanding of the words that Smith just said."

That isn't my point Mister SlowSelectivePro and your use of words like misremembered versus lie.

Thanks for posting this. I knew when I saw that Jack Smith was demanding this be released that it was because he is an arrogant prick and he thinks he takes the High Road.

What was the known falsity in this instance?

Hey, Jack what about Stacey Abrams, Hillary Clinton, and several others? Did they have the freedom of speech to talk about so-called stolen election?

Next he’s going to educate us that perjury is legal and completely ethical if it means taking down Trump.

Slippery slope.

Smith said from the beginning that Trump was entitled to believe and express his contention that the election was stolen. The case was about actions he may or may not have engaged in to try and prove the point.

Stop trying to make this case something it is not

What a shitty argument to go after a sitting POTUS.

“You can’t knowingly make false statements about a lawful government function. That is fraud”.

That’s his argument. Just a few years after Hillary Clinton said the same statement.

Sounds like something Putin would do.
