Just drop the case, my man. It’s over. You lost.

The only reason this case is going to be dismissed is the DOJ policies at issue. When this story first broke, I said they were doing Trump a solid by doing this before he was actually inaugurated. People got upset at the point and then pulled the "he hasn't been sworn in yet so the DOJ policy doesn't apply" card.

That is probably the issue they have to resolve. They may not be permitted to do him this solid, and they have to wait to dismiss until he's actually sworn in and the letter of the DOJ policy starts to apply.

How does this not scream of just being a political persecution of Trump? I mean anyone with half of a brain could see this, yet democrats will still cling that Trump was guilty of every charge brought against him.

The DOJ has a standing policy (that started in like 1973) that a federal prosecution can't be brought against a sitting President.

Since Trump won, the DOJ policy dictates the charges be dismissed regardless of their underlying merits.

You can't be serious.DOJ lets a son of a bitch off that had docs in his possession from when he was a Senator...for YEARS...that he never had a right to have.

He has documents in his freaking garage. and gave access to his ghostwriter to classified material.

They raid Trump and put him through a totally political.prosecution run by the worst sort of political prosecutor.,Totally unnecessary.

If this isnt injustice I don't know what is.

I don’t think so.

He wants this to go away now because he’s in trouble.

Did you see where the House just issued a letter to him ordering him to "preserve his records"? They are making sure he doesn't start purging things.

You'll know if there is duplicity afoot if the DOJ just tries to stay the case instead of dismissal, because you can't FOIA records in pending litigation/investigations.
