Only stupid people say that so he does have a point.
Well, all the same I’ll take my chances with something that has stood the test of time vs. some random internet baw who thinks he’s got shite figured out within his 8 or 9 decades bumping around on the big blue ball.

Funny how he's telling christians how to be christians when he doesn't profess being a christian.
He's not doing that.
He is correctly identifying that people are clever enough to use a perfectly acceptable phrase in specific contexts with bad motivations and be malicious instead.
Not surprising this board lacks the depth to process what he's saying, though.

He is absolutely right. The fundamentalist Christians have completely forgotten about God. Jesus is not God.

Peterson is tedious.
Listened to him once. Uses a lot of words to say very little.

Peterson is stuck back in 2016.

I don’t really like the train of thought Peterson and Douglas Murray and others are going to.
But…
I most closely associate this phrase’s use on Twitter with Candace Owens, who is a total grifter and hate monger. And after she did it, it was just kinda used as a substitute for “frick you” by a few people. So I see (sorta) why he’s going there.
I can only hope that his intentions are pure and not paid for by a certain group, because I would hate to lose my respect for both of those guys in the span of a few weeks. (Murray has already lost it)

And pauses for longer than he speaks. Plus he dresses like the riddler.

Peterson is a dishonest pseudo-intellectual with a Christ complex who delves into the occult, passes off faux Jungian bafflegarble as philosophy, and offers terrible advice to people who need much better role models than he can provide.

Satanists always invert; it is this inversion that gives off that unmistakeable stink of sulfur that identifies them.

Disagree with what you're saying but I do like the way you put it
Guys like Peterson look at the world differently than most through their field of study. I don't get the idea that he is anti religious at all. He seems to respect the Christian faith even if he views it from a different perspective than a believer might.

What's to misunderstand....Peterson is a Christian who doesn't think Christ is King..lol
they broke him in his reeducation sessions and now he can't admit what he knows in his heart is true.
Communist canada sucks cock

This is totally false and the issue. Peterson out of no where at the beginning of Lent(march) with no provocation attacked Candace Owens on twitter.
Also, you or Peterson cannot not point to Candace Owens using "Christ is King" in a provocative or malicious way. When all this blew up a year ago she was converting to Catholicism and professed Christ is King and Shapiro/ Daily Wire/ Peterson got triggered. Not sane behavior of people who are comfortable at being who they are.

I don't think it's is a certainty that God won't use a new convert to start a movement, far from it.
But I do think it's reasonable to be hesitant to jump on a very-online messaging bandwagon led by a new convert who makes 95% of her content politically-oriented (rather than kingdom oriented) and appears interested in picking mixed political/Christianity fights as her first order of business after a multi-year flirtation with challenging public norms on Judaism (I don't object to the concept of the latter, FWIW).
