Two things about Juneteenth color my views on it
1) It was a knee-jerk reaction to the George Floyd BS
2) Only a small percentage of blacks even heard of it prior to it's "proclamation"

I had no idea Juneteenth had anything to do with slavery. I thought it was a gay pride celebration. Honestly

Not only that but it only “applied” to states that succeeded and not border states that had slaves. There was also an exemption for confederate states already under union control.
But you are correct. It didn’t do shite.

MLK himself would have never approved of MLK day. That was created by welfare pimps in yet another attempt at cashing in on the man's legacy.

Don't go to the Civil War Museum in Richmond. They have changed the entire history of who the real heroes of the Civil War was.

Good luck. They shoot each other at these celebrations then still blame you.
It’s almost as if they are pissed white people freed them.

My issue with Juneteenth is that contrary to popular belief, the North HAD slaves too.
My issues:
1. Everyone wants to blame white people for slavery even though many (or maybe even most) blacks were sold into it by other blacks in Africa.
2. Blacks are free and have equal rights because white people gave it to them. They would still be in bondage if white people wanted it.
3. Blacks who are descendants of slaves are infinitely better off in the USA today than they would be if the slave trade had never happened. And the USA is what it is due to the bravery and ingenuity of white people.
4. White people in the USA today are worse off due to the former slave trade. Trying to integrate blacks into equal everything has come at a great cost to the white man in lives, resources, opportunities, and racial/political division.
5. The white man has put the interests of the black man ahead of his own in many, many cases. You won’t find many examples of that sort of thing happening in the history books.
6. The only reason the white man is so condemned is because when this world was about nothing but blood and conquest the white man simply had the best weapons.

This doesn’t make sense. Why would you hold onto dead bodies until the end of the voyage?
It’s been a while. I may have messed up a detail. They may have been dumping them the entire time and the sharks were in the more shallow water.
I know this is a random story on the internet. Take from it what you will. The main point was that I had heard about this tradition happening in June years before Juneteenth became well known.

William Seward (Lincoln's SOS) said "As it is, we show our sympathy with slavery by emancipating slaves where we cannot reach them and holding them in bondage where we can set them free.”

Let's also add no N word spoken in June, maybe extend it beyond until it fades away completely. Words have power, both positvely and negatively. Maybe just maybe simply removing a word with such negativity attached will bring more positive outcomes over time. Surely we can have fun without it.

Should celebrate by sending all minorities out of the country.
You don't have to be so subtle about it. Please, share your plans for the final solution.

You are spiritually cucked by negro worship. You will never make it.

And there's the deal breaker right there. Sorry.

Especially since it only became this because of George Floyd.
And the exaggerated, dishonest accounts of the "Black Wall Street Massacre" in Oklahoma on June 1, 1921 that were being played up in the media the last few years. It's bullshite.
Edit: Know how I really know it's BS? Because Brandon Tatum, a conservative activist/black man and police offer from Oklahoma, had a detailed YouTube video a few years ago, dissecting the story and pointing out alleged exaggerations and lies of the mainstream narrative... I was going to link it here but the video is no longer on YouTube. If you Google anything to look for alternative accounts of it, there is NOTHING on Google. There has been a concerted effort to push one narrative, the preferred and exaggerated white aggressor-only narrative. Pathetic.

Points 4 and 5 are so right. It truly is the "white man's burden" to have to constantly deal with violent thugs in your daily life. Constantly looking over your shoulder at the gas station or in a certain area. I'm sick of having to live like this.

What better way to promote unity than mandatory celebration and recitations about past wrongdoings?
Celebrate diversity!! Aka we are all different!
