Of the basics. That was especially true in New York, and it’s true nationwide.

Runaway inflation under Biden.
The insurance debacle under Obama.
And the Chinese Flu are the main culprits.

But none of that hurts me, I’m a Boomer.

Trump has made things immensely more affordable here in Louisiana.

Maybe if NYC adopted more of his policies they could actually afford to live there.

Like you have any clue what has made life unaffordable for most people, it certainly isn’t fewer handouts. You act like you have your finger on the pulse of most Americans lol you are as clueless as the mainstream media

and with communism if you have too many people chasing too few goods, you just kill however many you need to kill to get things back aligned like Mao and Stalin did

Tell us how that will never happen when a democrat AG can be elected who advocates it.

Imagine the blatant hypocrisy that a leftist such as yourself must have to complain about affordability considering every action you regressives take is about “free” that is at the cost of taxpayers.

That's amazing....because when inflation was 9.3 percent under Biden, the problem was greedy corporations (according to Dems).

Biden got out there every 6 months and made a quick speech with props. Dude even had some Oreos and animal crackers next to him one time -- talking about the evils of Big Oreo.

But I guess the problem now is Trump and not Big Oreo.

So even more centralized government control and power via socialism is going to make it better?

You think even more taxpayer subsidies are going to make things cheaper? You can't control people and their actions, and that's what economics is, and that's what socialism believes it can control, by law, via central government: people and their emotions and actions. It is authoritarian by nature.

You're quite literally doubling down on your stupidity and throwing gas on the fire. NY has been doing the whole socialism thing, and now they turned it up a notch.

How can people like you be so ignorant of the reality of socialism and its ramifications? How many times must it fail until you realize you're wrong. It boggles my mind how you can go day to day making decisions based off of emotions.

So are you contending NY that has been Democrat run for many years, wasn’t liberal enough?

You see the stupidity in your post right? That liberal policies failed in New York, so your solution was even more liberal policies?

Socialism doesnt make things affordable.

It never has. In fact, its an inflation creating machine.

I agree but my opinion is that the government needs to pull out of capitalism because they are manipulating the markets.

Your opinion is that we need more government involvement.

Tell me when what your side proposes have ever lowered costs for everyone? Don’t say government subsidies.

Funny you mentioned affordable. Tampa electric just got approved for a 5% increase. You know why? Because they've lost their arse on green energy initiatives so they're jacking it to people that just won't basic electricity generated by fossil fuels. None of their green initiatives have generated close to the estimated volume. It's all fricking fairy dust. Pisses me off in case you can't tell.

No doubt Republicans are responsible for the high COL in NYC

Frightening that Mamdami could win in such a GOP stronghold.
