They actually voted for that in the last election, but they got f*cked by the CDU (the supposed "conservative" party).
They know if they dont handle it, AfD will continue to grow in power as the only ones that even acknowledge the problem.
AfD is actually center left, but somehow (well, we know exactly how) gets the "far right" label.

They just had an election a few months ago, and one of the parties was the clear anti immigration party. The largest share of the vote went to a center right party that was wishy washy on immigration, and immediately announced they would do nothing to stop it. I hope they get it right in the next election, but they missed a clear opportunity.

Germany is in bad trouble.
They already have sky high taxes and are in a recession. Their deficit is expected to hit 5%, the highest since reunification. They have an ongoing energy crisis since they cut themselves off Russian gas that continues to bleed their economic output and strain their public finances as the government spends ever more money on subsidies to people to help pay their energy bills. And now they pledge to triple defense spending and pay Ukraine’s bills while continuing to take in large numbers of migrants.
Merz’ approval rating is dropping to anywhere from the low twenties to the teens in what has been reported as the lowest ratings since reunification.

People need to understand this immigration is being directed and mandated by the EU to all EU nations
Some nations have refused up till now and simply paid the $$$ fine for not accepting the Allah Ackbars
The greater question is why is the EU directing and mandating countries to accept radical Muslims into all of these countries

Red sirens lights notwithstanding, the article states that only 53% of Germans want a moratorium on immigration. Not quite a landslide of opinion from the Germans.

I lived in Germany for 2 1/2 years. You saw this slogan spray painted numerous times. "Ausländer raus" They just may have waited to long to correct their mistakes
