Bill Gates changed when he realized he could make MORE money with data centers.

The academics have fully embraced the crisis. It’s hard wired into the system.

You might want to ask yourself why the current administration is removing monitoring devices

I put the climate scammers in with the biblical folks who keep giving dates that never come to fruition.
"by 2020 there will be no polar ice caps left!"
"the rapture is coming in 2012!"
They are all a bunch of scammers who just keep moving dates further and further out when the original ones they predicted don't happen.

Exactly. These same companies and people building the AI data centers were the ones screaming the loudest about the implementation of solar and wind power sources. They should use their own money to fund their own power generation with strictly solar and wind. See how that works out.

They promised dire results repeatedly for decades, but they didn't happen so it became another Mayan calendar event.

The alarmists were wrong. That doesn't mean we can't impact the climate

Don't believe this.
Because they didn't believe it either.

The people who negatively impact the climate are poor people (India and China for example). Strangely the people who pretend to care most about the climate are also the ones most committed to enacting policies that will turn us all poor.
It doesn’t make sense!

60% of Cars sold in China are EVs
1/3 of cars in Europe are EVs
US solar production just passed coal.
Scam or no scam, transition is real and has its own momentum.

It was actually on the same level as frickery as the learing centers

There were only alarmists and deniers. There wasn't allowed allowed to be a middle ground.
But when your entire movement is dishonest, you lose even the people who would care

I still have friends that are true believers. The orthodoxy flows strong in those properly indoctrinated.

I know many people who drive EVs because they like them and don't give a shite about the environment or global warming.
EV, solar, etc., need to succeed for economic and market based reasons, not because they are forced.

Of course not. More understanding of our world is a good thing. You might as well just adopt the stance that knowledge is stupid.

Temperature measuring devices have been very accurate for a long time. Anyone can look at average monthly temps over the past 30 years and see what is happening.

I don’t think this is correct. Any scam declines when it stops working. People weren’t donating anymore. Organizations weren’t allocating funds in their budgets anymore.
Time to move on to the next scam.

Which begs the question again....why is Trump having them taken out of service?
