Enemies are fabricated by powerful people who have something to gain. Humans don’t have natural enemies. We are just propagandized and conditioned to believe we do and the monkeys fall in line.

Russia sees the US and Europe as enemies. You only need to catch a small amount of Russian state tv for this to be clear.
Especially with Trump's collaboration in Russiagate amirite

Humans do have natural enemies.
Human nature isn’t peaceful, generous and content.
All these traits have limitations.
No matter what, someone will always want what another has and some will use force to take it.
The world’s history is written in blood long before propaganda.

Is Russia a Natural Enemy of the USA?
I don't think so. That mentality is leftover from the Cold War and was never really true.

The problem is that Russia has always been expansionist, which puts them as a threat to our strategic and economic partners.
Thanks, Tantal. You have obviously studied this more than I have.
As to the majority of the people in those areas of Ukraine that are under Russian control, do you think they would prefer to be part of Ukraine or Russia?
Posted on 1/22/25 at 11:15 am to IvoryBillMatt
No, you just got the answer you were looking for…the US is expansionist. China is expansionist.
Powers compete.
Russia competes and they don’t struggle with a Russia first mentality.

You might want to learn the definition of the word CONSERVATIVE. They are RUSSIAN NATIONALIST TRADITIONALISTS in that they reject Woke bullshite that has swept the West and ascribe to a reality-based idea of human nature. That does not have ANYTHING to do with Conservatism, which is based on individual liberty, limited government, the rule of law, etc. After all, Putin himself was a zealot KGB agent. He's basically a Russian strongman in the Russian tradition that is willing to do whatever it takes to advance Russian interests, and he enjoys wide support because of it. Just because he understands that chicks don't have dicks and doesn't want his culture degraded by our sickness does not magically make him a Conservative.

Of course, the invasion of Ukraine is tragic and troubling. Was it justified? Probably not,
It was never our place to judge that. The US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. The US had much less justification to do so than Russia invading Ukraine

Yes and this was an EXPANSION.
They said it was unacceptable, did they not?
Why did it continue?
Coulda been avoided no?

It doesn’t hurt either.
The modern day conservative resembles the traditional conservative less and less .
From a social conservative aspect Putin and Russia align.
From a government control standpoint - agree.

There’s absolutely no reason why Russia couldn’t be a great ally to us.
I favor Russia also because they resist globalization satanism.

And here we are.
China, Russia, Iran are all sovereign nations.
As is Mexico.
If all these sovereign nations decided that the US border needed their bases, I guess that’s okay?

Its not a general NATO expansion problem for Russia. Its Ukraine and Belarus in particular. They view both as Russian.
Estonia joining NATO didn't get us here.

Russia is trying to regain its imperial and Soviet boarders with the resultant power by invading its neighbors. This makes it an enemy of peace.
Russia has allied with Communist/Fascist China, Evil Totalitarian North Korea, and Terrorist Iran. Birds of a feather. Or, the New Axis of Evil.
Russia conspired with Brazil, China, India, and South Africa to form the anti/Western and anti-American BRICS organization.
THEY consider the West and America THEIR enemies. I trust this as factual honest truth. Why should we question them?

I don't know about natural enemy, but Russia's neighbors tend to not like them very much. E. Europeans don't particularly like them. Scandinavian certainly don't. Further east, the Afghans don't like them. The Chinese fought a border war with them in the 1960's. Japan has beefs with them over the Kuril Islands .
