Her or Newsome, I doubt they try to run Harris out again unless they put her on the ticket as a VP
Posted on 5/28/26 at 10:49 am to NIH
The lineup is
Gav
Harris
Shapiro
Beshear
Gretch
So sure, she's viable. They all suck. Gav was built in a lab to be President. He's like a TV President. But he's got the worst record of any major candidate in history.

you say that as if she just needs a little seasoning. She's a full-blown idiot with psychotic political ideas.

I don’t think Hillary’s base of white women and minorities gave a shite about Bill Clinton. The donors, maybe.
Bill Clinton was jokingly referred to as the “first black president”. He was popular among blacks. Nobody even knows who Hillary is without Bill. She is a nobody. She definitely lived off his name to get jobs and win elections. Remember she didn’t have to be voted on to become Secretary of State.

She is an idiot but so was Kamala
Kamala was not a viable candidate in a real election. Only when she was gifted the nomination was she a consideration.

Depends on whom you ask. Pman, Vor, Tarzana, T-Boy, and a few others here probably believe she is a viable candidate and would put signs out for her in their front yard. Just my opinion.

Her only qualifications are her two fantastic titties. That's it.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but still. She doesn't have a chance in hell.

She should get out and meet people from all over the country. Then, she will realize how out of touch she is....maybe.
She's an actress playing a role.
I loved how she recently embraced the Handmaid's Tale.

Unless she gets introduced to GLP-1 soon....and is able to endure the side effects...her attractiveness will become a thing of the past.

I think Gretch has a good shot. I think even rank and file liberals see Gav as their corporate candidate. Doesn’t help that he has a Kathleen Blanco esque track record on disasters. But he is willing to brawl with Republicans and has the TV bona fides you mention.
I think the other two names make sense like running a Kasich or Romney did in 2016. Too little too late for purported moderates.

AOC is the same animal. Popular in loon blue socialist enclaves like LA and NYC. The echo chamber national media swoons over them, and idiots mistake that for nationwide appeal.

Kamala is a black woman, you left out that crucial analysis
Posted on 5/28/26 at 10:55 am to NIH
It doesn't matter what idiot they put at the top of their ticket, at least 46% of the people are going to vote for them. So it is no stretch that should could convince 4 out of 100 people to vote for her and push her to 50.01%.
The bigger question is whether the Obama neocons will give up power. Even though Obama is a commie himself, he isn't with the Bernie group.

Gretch is definitely the insider's pick. But personally I don't see it.
She's the journalist's candidate who all think she's brave and cool and don't realize that normal people aren't impressed by a woman in a leather jacket awkwardly using profanity. But I expect she'll be a factor.

She will not win. Dems can’t win with women or hardliners. The only reason Biden “won” in 2020 was covid fear and perception of him being experienced.

I think her getting traction is closer to Trump in 2016 than people want to admit.
No. Trump got traction all by himself, in spite of the media machine railing against him the whole time. AOC has been a media darling from day one and people still can't stand her.
Posted on 5/28/26 at 10:59 am to NIH
Black voters will be up in arms if it's not Kamala or another black candidate. If AOC is the choice, she'll need to choose a black candidate such as Jeffries for VP, otherwise a lot of black voters won't bother.

So much of our intake is online that you just need some short clips and to talk shite on Twitter. I think this 2028 cycle is going to be closer to 2016 for the left. I think you’ll see the mask come off to a degree.
