New climate story full of bs

- a word salad with zero meaning...
-simply not true
Seriously, entire article about one family and saying hundreds left after devastating hurricane destroyed everything... pandering bs

Florida's climate exodus has already begun — and it's only going to get worse

As many residents will be proud to tell you, the thousand-odd islands that make up the Florida Keys are one of a kind:

The Keys are also the first flock of canaries in the coal mine of climate change. Over the past few years, the residents of these islands have been forced to confront a phenomenon that will affect millions of Americans before the end of the century. Their present calamity offers a glimpse of our national future.

Nature is changing. Today's hurricanes tend to be stronger, wetter, and less predictable than those of the last century.

They're generally pretty straightforward. It's worth noting they didn't produce this piece and it says it's an excerpt from a book. That should be at the top of the article, not the bottom.

Look at the costs of homes in the Keys and tell me everyone is leaving with a straight face. Total lie.

Yes, Business Insider tends to be a lefty propaganda site.

Funny, the author guesses 100’s left the keys but failed to do any research to see how many moved into the keys during that time period.

BI, is a middle of the road tending right leaning analysis reporting publication.
As with all things in a capitalistic economy, there is lots of misinformation because it is someone's best guess of the economic future.

Yes. They are worse than HuffPo or Salon.

It's more of a clickbait rag that just aligns with most media (so left leaning).

It is all of what's wrong with "journalism" if you can even call it that.
It is awful clickbait.
The editorial and fact-checking is non-existent.
It is owned by a person named Henry Blodget convicted of securities fraud and banned from the securities industry by the SEC.
The writing staff has zero talent so I can only assume they are poorly paid wash-outs that didn't get an internship at The Atlantic or NPR and now have a liberal ax to grind and BI is their platform.
Business Insider is complete Dog Sh*t.

What kind of stuff are you guys on??? Can I get some?

And yet they published it, with little to no warning that it's an excerpt of a book written as opinion. They knew exactly what they were doing.

The only real news is Brietbart and what comes from Mike Lindell. Everything else is leftist propaganda all the time.
Any true red blooded American knows that.
