Trump: “Three World Class American Destroyers just transited, very successfully, out of the Strait of Hormuz, under fire. There was no damage done to the three Destroyers, but great damage done to the Iranian attackers. The time for negotiations and love taps is far beyond over. Iran is not Venezuela where we had a corrupt member of the Maduro regime that was willing to play ball with us and willing to sell out to do what the Trump administration wants them to do. These people running Iran are something different totally. Trump may have the swagger to keep them in check but in a little over 2 years Trump will leave office. Trump will not be on Marine 1 leaving the White House for 30 seconds before they start violating the agreement they signed. If Marco Rubio is President after Trump then I can be fooled into thinking he will hold this regime in Iran accountable. If it’s a Dem or most Republicans that becomes President then this regime in Iran will violate any agreement made and the people in charge will not hold them accountable. This will be to do again at some point and it will be a lot worse than if we just finished this off now.

My only beef with Trump on this is, he keeps saying we destroyed everything they have, they have nothing left, they can’t do anything. If that is true, then why in the hell can’t these ships just sail their happy arse on through? I say wipe the frickers off the face of the earth, every damn one of them, take the country don’t give it back, start selling the oil and be done with it

The problem with getting the Strait of Hormuz open is the threat of mines. Iran said they mined it. Nobody really knows for sure. Because of that the insurance companies covering these ships will not pay off should they hit a mine. These little boats are not shutting down shipping or even the drones or missiles. The threat of mines is the biggest problem. Until the conflict is over and every inch of the Strait can be checked for mines I don’t know if these insurance companies will allow these ships to move through Hormuz. All the more reason to start bombing again and get this over with as fast as possible.

Yeah all Iran had to do was make this threat publicly and the people that insured these ships got scared and shut the Strait down for them.

He is the only person I see with enough stones to order the military back over there to finish the job if they violate any agreement they sign. No Dem would do it at all. Most R’s wouldn’t do it. That is why a deal of any kind is basically useless here.

No one would do it bc it’s fricking retarded and serves zero purpose to the American people other than making things much more expensive than they were 2 months ago

Vance, Hegseth, DeSantis, and Trump, Jr. would do it in a heartbeat. Fortunately, POTUS Trump will end this regime soon. But we must not leave Iran hollow for outside influences to wreak havoc. There must not be a vacuum.
