It’s mind blowing. Even members of Congress.

It’s mine blowing. I’m sure it’s probably not necessary to ask, but do you see what I did there?

The threat of mines is the biggest problem.

In the strait, absolutely correct. You’ll probably notice that many, many people are, shall we say, unacquainted with this rather significant aspect of the whole thing.

There certainly are mines in the Strait, but obviously there are plotted pathways that navigate safe passage. Otherwise, as ships pass thru, some would be hitting mines. The US military has the entire Strait under 24 hr watch to prevent more mines being placed.
It's not as significant as you believe.....

Because of that the insurance companies covering these ships will not pay off should they hit a mine.

Which is by design and controlled by the Brits. Our “oldest ally” is deep in bed with Iran and Trump is exposing it.

The word “threat” of mines is the operative word. Just the threat. Because regardless of the U.S. Navy saying that the shipping lanes are safe from mines, they can’t guarantee that. Military world and insurance world are two wildly different worlds, as we would all agree Im sure.
