Trump talks tough but doesn’t have the fortitude to do what needs to be done in Iran.

And Hegseth is a joke. Wasn’t prepared for handling the Strait at all.

True but we are escorting shipments through as we speak.

That was done by the previous regime.

It is the other way around. Starving them out as we speak.

Pretty much. Just have to let time take its toll.

So you're pro Islam, pro narcotraffickers, and pro pedophile.

Hum, I bet you voted for Trump three times.

From a cost benefit standpoint it never made sense.

Our foreign policy has been bad for decades but attempting some half cocked gunboat diplomacy on Iran given today’s global power dynamics is incredibly stupid.

This was not done as a cost point benefit. This was done as an exterminate the mother of terrorism standpoint.

Is this the new talking point instruction? Just keep pulling stuff outta your arse with no basis in fact and flinging it at the wall

Seems to be a trend with the common talking point email receivers here these days.

Like Iraq and Afganistan? Those failed, but an even harder target is going to fall now?

It's amazing to me how many of you don't understand the difference between being able to take out a country's military and being able to be an occupational force that can bring change. It's like you completely missed every lesson about Afghanistan.

The only thing neocons like you accomplish is more debt, more enemies while wasting away the lives of Americans and ruining the reputation of the GOP which lead to Obama and the extreme left shift.

People like you are the reason every male in my family served until my younger brother. Now there is no way in hell any of us ever join.

If I’m not mistaken, this is the first time in history we’ve had an opposing country ask for this.

You’d be mistaken. Example, in prior wars we have had intel a house had bad guys and we sent a rocket through their window and it comes back intel was wrong, we pay off those people. As for Iran wanting some lump sum for damage we have done they can wish in one hand and shite in the other and see which one fills first. Iran will demand all kinds of things that they’ll never get.

The USA will have to declare peace at the end of the War Powers Window and then renew bombing soon after that.

This status quo is going to be with us for quite a while longer. There's really no need to follow it on a minute to minute basis. Everybody knows that the USA is not going to invade Iran. Everybody knows that the US strategy is to destabilize the Islamic Iranian regime such that it falls on its own.

Whether or not this strategy will work is uncertain, but, I would say that it is a long shot.

I have been thinking we'll do another MOU type thing to get energy moving the next few months, then drop the hammer after the midterms.

Fifty years from now your grandchildren will be thanking Trump and the "neocons" for saving them from nuclear annihilation.
