Iran parliament working on bill that proposes €50m reward for killing Trump

iran's parliament is reviewing a bill that requires the government to pay €50 million to any individual or entity that kills US President Donald Trump in retaliation for the killing of iran's leader and commanders, a senior lawmaker said on Thursday.
Ebrahim Azizi, head of parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told the state TV that lawmakers had prepared several bills since the start of the March war, including one on “countermeasures by military and security forces.”
“This is our right,” he added. “Just as our Imam was martyred, the president of the United States must be dealt with by any Muslim or free person.”
Azizi said the bill stipulates that “if any natural or legal person carries out this religious and ideological mission, the government is obliged to pay €50 million as a reward.”

The USA doesn't have the military capability to conquer Iran like we did Germany.

If Trump is assassinated and it's because Iran is paying the assassin specifically to do it, I'm lowkey ok with some small nukes dropping all across every Iranian government facility. There's no way in hell the US just sits back and hits a government responsible for the assassination of a sitting president with sanctions and conventional weapons. We'd have no choice but to absolutely obliterate them in a way that no other government, military or terror group has ever been obliterated before. What kind of message would it send to the rest of the world if our response would be anything short of that?

Iran is so ridiculously overmatched that they have to entice kooky Americans to do what they can't do. Meanwhile, someone pushes a button from the safety of tens of thousands of feet away and their leaders are taken out within milliseconds.

I'd say that the perfect time for Trump to hit Iran again would be about 5 seconds after the Iran Parliament approves this bill.

Iran still has a sizeable stock pile of drones and ballistic missiles capable of doing major damage to the other gulf states oil producing infrastructure and desalination plants. We are in a state of mutually assured destruction with a large percentage of the world's oil supply that could go offline for years. Neither side wants that to happen.
