I feel like people aren't paying attention to the fact that we destabilized things elsewhere in the ME.
- Saudis may be in trouble.
- Apparently, Syria is a mess and Jolani is in trouble.
- Didn't resistance forces in Iraq hit the Saudi pipeline? Either way, chaos there, too.
- Oh, and Gaza and Lebanon, I almost forgot about that.
Entire region may go up in flames.

A civil war where we use our air power to affect the outcome. At least there is a chance the Iranian people regain control of their country. The IRGC cannot remain in power.

Because the US has such a great history of picking sides in Islamic conflict in the ME

Probably between 0-1%

The one thing we know is that when there is an Islamic country engaging in civil war where the US/Israel/Russia are involved, you're going to get a lot of terror groups involved across multiple states.

Many of these countries are always on the brink of coups, even countries like SA. Now would that be a ISIS-like takeover? No, but MBS took over SA with a coup, and he can be taken out by a family rival just the same.

Now is the critical word

Its correct because ships are now accepting that Iran really doesnt control the Strait

So Now isnt critical, because "its been open" is the reality. Its like being behind a major wreck, when that 1 guy decides to use the shoulder to go around, after sitting for 20 min. The shoulder was always there, just no one was brave enough to use it. Eventually the cops arrive and push everyone to the shoulder. But the shoulder was open You just had to man up and drive on it

You're ignoring the months of gaslighting by Trump and MAGA arguing that Iran never controlled the SOH, which is what was being discussed/referenced

Hence, "now" is the critical word.

because "its been open" is the reality. I

You argue against yourself in the next sentence.

Bro. Iran didn't close the SOH with force. It closed it with threats. All you're doing is supporting the claim that the US did not control the SOH and Iran closed it down for months.

I don’t think it’s as black and white as you pretend it to be. There are shades of gray that make infighting a potentially more positive landscape for America than current regime.

Sure. I concede that it’s not all (or even maybe mostly) positive but nothing rarely is.

To act like infighting in Iran puts America on even more shaky footing as compared to the previous regime seems a bit shortsighted and as if you are just trying to poke some posters between the eyes…

How do the simplest of things go completely over your head?

The reason traffic didnt take to the shoulder was the THREAT of a ticket. Yet the people in CONTROL of the roadway eventually shows the shoulder is OK to use. Traffic starts flowing again, when it could have flowed all along

Same with the Strait. Fear kept the waterway closed, not Iran. Trump said it was open. Hes the cops in this scenario. And ships are now moving more swiftly because he opened it long ago

Our history cannot matter in this case. The IRGC was well on their way, through proxy states and terrorist groups to completely taking over the Middle East. And they are allied with our enemy China. And they are the money behind incursions by their ideology and influence into the western hemisphere.

That was Iran's literal strategy

Hence how they closed the SOH

I’m way less worried about Hormuz and way more worried about this situation in Saudi. This is a much more serious issue than Hormuz ever was.

This is bullshite clown theater. We could wipe out their entire military on one day. It's just another MIC forever war and we're all paying the price.
