So it was, in your opinion, rational to storm an embassy and then hold those hostages for 444 days. They only released them because they knew once weak arse JCarter was out that Reagan was going to pull a trump on them .

They only respect force and it's high time to give them some more respect.

Yes, 100% rational. If a country was doing those things to us, we would react the same way.

Reagan made deals with Iran. Your claim is based on fantasy.

I just can't imagine being a leader in Iran right now and thinking that giving Donald Trump the middle finger is a good idea. You are absolutely, 100%, no doubt, going to die very soon. Your military is totally helpless. You can't do anything except try to goad the US into creating a humanitarian crisis and eroding global support for Trump kicking your arse.

Quit being a shite head and give up. You're done. America has decided you government needs to change. It's going to change whether you are dead or alive. Might as well be alive?
The alternative to likely being killed in an airstrike is being taken into custody by the same people who you just killed in the tens of thousands. I'm not so sure the latter is preferable.

Which allows the weak to reorganize the murderous regime leading to more war.

I’m not suggesting nukes, but I am suggesting Hiroshima/Nagasaki level shows of force. Finish this.

Nope. There might be some subtlety or nuance to the wordng that’s debatable.

But you should do some research.

Bombing civilian infrastructure is a sign of desperation.
Even in WW2 our most devastating bombing always included significant military targets and objectives (including Tokyo firebombing, Hiroshima and Nagasaki).
Trump seemed to be unhinged with his Easter post.

Do you do understand that innocent people who had nothing to do with this regime are there be the ones that are going to have to survive without water and the ability to get to health care, etc. across the bridges. This is not the bad guys that are going to suffer it is every day Iranians that didnt ever want these people governing them anyway...so quit celebrating...your giddiness is disgusting.

Remember when Trump told them to "hold on.we're coming to help you"

I don't think this is what they expected...

You bunch of useful idiots haven’t used two of your five brain cells thinking about Iran for the last forty seven years and now you all act like you’ve been lying awake at night fretting over the mullahs bombing Tel Aviv.

It’s so so ridiculous.

Did Aristotle ever have to deal with a violent Islamic caliphate?

Former Texas Governor Sabatoged hostage release for Reagan's political benefit

quote:

Former Texas Gov. John Connally (R) met Middle Eastern leaders in 1980 to convince Iran to delay releasing American hostages — part of an effort to sabotage then-President Jimmy Carter’s re-election campaign, according to a New York Times report.

quote:

Former Lt. Gov. Ben Barnes, a protege of Connally, told the Times that he accompanied Connally on a tour of the Middle East in the summer of 1980 and that Connally wanted to get the message to Iran's leaders.

Not as simple as "the Iranians were afraid of Reagan"
