This is such a stupid comment. Mankind has been killing each other in war for centuries. Human beings are damn good at it. As long as humans exist free will exists. That means there will be times good people will have to go to war to stop evil people. If you wanna disagree with war fine. I agree war sucks and it’s the worst way mankind has to settle disputes. But telling someone to go join the frontlines is a dumb as hell statement. This is not the first time Americans will have to go into combat and it will not even come close to being the last time. There is the way the world should be and then there is the way it really is. Until the human race learns that killing each other is a poor way to settle anything then we will have the need for a military. Simple as that.

We should have had boots on the ground when they were killing our guys in the 2000's . Wish with every fiber of my being i could be one of them. I hate them. They killed my friends. I want them to die.
Sadly that time has passed me by. Mobility issues from wounds recieved in combat, and age would make me a liability at best, and at worst get my brothers killed.
Life is cruel in that way.
Senior enlisted i know still in army and the marines relish the idea of snuffing out the mullahs. Word is their ranks feel the same.
Can't speak for admin, supply, and the rest of that bunch.
When we are in we want to do the job, prove our worth, and add to the legacy.
The current generation of warrior is no different.
If we do go in we as a nation need to support these warriors with everything we have. Because we have proved through the ages that we are willing to give everything we have

We wouldn't need or want conscripts or drafted trash.low quality individuals only hurt us.

We fought Iraq and Afghanistan without bringing in garbage.

We are the best fighting force for a reason. Thats because those of us who do the job want to be there.
