Many posters would say things like
“local LEO would not support this”
“Local sheriffs still support the constitution”
“LEO would be on the people’s side”
Well, I think this current environment shows that is a false sense of security.

Time to arm yourselves, citizens.

What exactly do you mean by “us”?

Non-urban leaders are on the same power trip as urban ones

Got plenty of them on small roads leading into Texas right now asking to see your papers.

Location is important. LEOs in rural America would support us. Those in more urban areas would not and the boot lickers will cheer them on.

Sure but they won’t get away with it because they don’t have the same access to resources and support of locals that urban LEOs would.
Rural law enforcement can’t fight a guerilla war in the countryside.

I'm about as small town as it gets, and I know at least 3 LE in my area that only give lip service to the 2A, so the idiots will elect them. One is our county sheriff. My county voted 60/40 republican in both of Obama's terms.

Law abiding citizens with guns?

Yep.
The love in this Country for those that can LEGALLY end your life and ignore your God-given Rights... astounds me.
They are armed-henchmen imposing their will over you, while being compensated for doing the bidding of your corrupt "elected" controllers.

Are there some Leo's who wouldn't? Sure. Do I think if it was a normal/regular Tuesday you'd have some bigger groups of leos who would not comply with the order, sure.
Given any sort of emergency, you're damn right 95%+ would have no issue with it.

all one has to do is read "the great new orleans gun grab" it chronicles the gun confiscation from law abiding citizens in NOLA after katrina.

I’ve said this for years on here. The barrier to entry to be a cop is low, outside of federal law enforcement.
They get a paycheck to take orders...they will obey those orders to protect that check.
They believe they are superior to you and they believe and act as though the law does not apply to them.
It’s amazing to me that the personal vehicles of many cops are adorned with spartan helmets, spears and such...like they are warriors.
The majority of cops will be your enemy if and when the order to take guns is given.
