A mental midget doesnt see that they are at war with us. They definitely arent flooding our streets with fentanyl. They definitely aren't paying the West back for the Opium Wars, They definitely aren't looking at how to beat our military as they build theirs.

Maybe economically that is the case. Get back to me once you look at their property rights, assembly rights, and other things Americans don't understand how blessed we are to enjoy.

At the end of the day, EVERY Chinese company is owned by the CCP…period, end of discussion.
At one point, corruption allowed for something more akin to what you speak, then Xi jailed their asses. Since then, the rest of China was put on notice, the CCP runs the show. Ironically, many of their senior members are alleged to have become enamored with fascism. That would make sense given their current set up.

Protecting them for the last 80 years isn't enough? It's true what they say. If you give someone something long enough, they feel entitled to it.

I'm interested to see how China does with technology over the next few decades. Think about how the Soviets beat us to space in the 50s & 60s. Peak Cold War. But the US managed to catch up & surpass them by the end of the decade.
Can we do it again? I don't know the answer. I know that China has invested a lot into tech & engineering capacity. But, I think that there's also a lot of fearmongering that ignores our history of rising to the occasion
