LOL.

This is a good news story. We don't want these people reproducing anyway. She's probably a lesbian, so it doesn't matter.

I am completely fine with people like this not having kids. It would be the equivalent of pissing in the gene pool.

It's the media. It's the constant, constant, constant, constant, constant, constant, constant, constant, constant, constant, constant, constant narrative that everything sucks and we're all going to burst into flames at any time and civilization is going to collapse (and that last message comes from the right AND the left).

The reality of the situation is that we are living during the highest standard of living, convenience, and luxury in the history of humankind. With the lowest incidences of racism, oppression, and abuse, at least in the Western world, with the possible exception of sex slaves.

In America, at least, poor people today live better than rich people did throughout almost all of history.

People are so easily brainwashed by the information barrage we are subject to in 2023. I honestly think we've out kicked our coverage at this point. Technology has created a situation that our brains can't deal with in a healthy manner.

My kids are so awesome. Very smart and sweet. Super nurturing. The world needs more people like them in it.

Of course I have hope! We all must. With all the bs happening in the world, my purple lantana is blooming like crazy and I’m growing Brussel sprouts for the first time ever. They’re doing really well! The sun is out. I have a job that I really enjoy. The mortgage is paid.

Things could be much worse.

The word "partner" is annoying. It's so much like everything these days. You can't take responsibility for the entirety of a relationship, so you give it a weak, disposable name like "partner". It's about as descriptive as roommate or buddy.

Everyone these days is a victim, which is a shame because that mentality produces nothing and is entirely self-fulfilling.

I can't even imagine the hubris to decide that all the struggles your ancestors had to overcome for you to exist are so meaningless that the bloodline ends with you.

If my kids told me they didn't want kids, I'd tell them to stop being selfish little shits.

A lot of people use politics or current events, but the real reason driving the lack of kids is economic. Older gen z and boomers simply aren’t connected to just how bad economic conditions are for younger people.

The virtue signaling is just copium, projecting to hide the real reason.

This times a zillion. Swinging daycare is seriously a second mortgage.

bullshite.

I've done the math on here before and would be happy to do so again if you'd like to throw out some specifics.

EDIT: I see someone has downvoted, but didn't provide any specifics for us to compare. Wonder why that might be.

Here's an idea: don't put yourself in a situation in which you need daycare.

I know many people doing that right now, in 2023.

The level of narcissism in a growing number of gen z clearly outpaces past youthful bullshite immaturity.. self absorption is going to produce Idiocracy type results as the less intelligent breed their way to power

Why is childcare so expensive?

BTW, as with most of the things you complain about being expensive on here, here's an article detailing why daycare has become so much more expensive since the early 1990s.

Want to guess what the biggest driver of the increase in expense is?

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

Wait for it...(The non leftists on here already know)

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

The GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS that you vote for every election.

Who would have guessed that, other than any conservative on the planet?

Do you know whats driving this?

1) Regulation
2) Government paying day care for many kids.

When government raises the price they will pay, the entire scale shifts.
