I volunteered my time to draw free house plans for HfH in New Orleans after Katrina. Never received so much as an acknowledgment of my offer.

To be such evil devils, whites sure do a lot for others.. being big brothers, volunteering, etc… Adopting minority kids, I never see this reciprocated.. why is that?

I'd send them an email back explaining how you no longer volunteering helps them achieve their percentage goals by removing a white from the sample.
I'd also make sure to note that you've helped build over ten houses for minorities, but I'm sure they'd rather another minority help them out instead of you.

Their team seems heavy on the white women, including the CEO who is an LSU grad by the way.
It also seems odd that they would ask the largely white volunteer group how to increase diversity. Why not go ask the diverse people who aren't volunteering why they aren't?

I would quote this back to them and ask ‘what does this mean in plain English?’ Meaning what have they been doing before that they wish not to be doing any longer, or what have they not been doing? Ask for specifics.
