I turned 18 in February of 1988, so daddy Bush was my first election. Guess I’d have to say he and W both were smart enough to fool me, especially W. Now I can’t decide whether I regret the votes for them, or McCain and Romney more. McCain at least had the decency to die and go away. Romney is a continual thorn in the side, but at least you don’t see him slobbering on Barry and Big Mike’s knob all the time.

That’s a good short story that helps tell us how we are $35T in debt.

I despise the Bush’s. I hate how bad I bought into all the reasonings behind going into Iraq. I hate that I bought into the bullshite that and loss of freedoms from the Patriot Act. I was a young naive man that got caught up in the “patriotic feel good “ we all had after uniting as a country after 911. My dad, who has also been a lifelong Republican kept warning me that he didn’t like alot of what Bush was doing. Now that I am the age now that he was then and have had the life learning experiences I have had since then understand exactly what he was talking about. We were all duped. It’s why I still remain somewhat skeptical of our current President. Overall I am more than pleased with his results so far but I don’t think I will ever buy into any President/administration or politician 100% ever again.

I do. I disagree with them on USAID; I disagreed with HW on raising taxes; and I disagreed with W when he tried the nation building in Iraq. But I think they are a good patriotic family in spite of their errors.

W was a moderate success in his first term. Colossal frick up in the second term and that gave us Obama.

That’s my simple minded view.

Dude, you can opt out of Medicare Part D and you should. I don't know how much I pay each month but I walk up the line at my pharmacy and they say sir, you have two prescriptions and that will be for no charge. I have no problem with Part D. You must be under 65.
And people wonder why we're $38 Trillion in debt....

I didn’t have a positive view when W was president. Why would I have one now?

Uh, what? Carter's community reinvestment act and Clinton's repeal of Glass Steagall along with dems in the House ignoring the Bush administration 13 warnings of the coming crisis with Fannie Mae.

The Community Reinvestment Act, signed into law by President Jimmy Carter in 1977, aims to encourage banks to meet the credit needs of all communities, particularly low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, and to combat discriminatory lending practices like redlining. This law requires federal regulators to assess banks' compliance and responsiveness to community needs when considering their applications for expansion or mergers

I can really only hate Bush for 1 reason. He traded Sammy Sosa to the cubs for Harold Baines when he had the Rangers.

Trump has a way of making people expose themselves for who they really are. I liked Bush when he was in office but, I see now he was nothing but self serving and a uniparty lackey. No doubt in my mind the Bush family are elitist that prey on the masses, and the Iraq war was a personal vendetta and political payoff more than a national interest.

W Bush has never met a Democrat he did not like, but is public about his dislike of many Republicans and Republican policies.

I used to stand up for them always. Not anymore, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, you’ll never get fooled again.

I was neutral about W when he left office.

Then I saw that the leftists considered him a friend.

The next 2 GOP candidates for POTUS were McCain, friend of the left, and Romney, friend of the left.

Appreciate Bush throwing the first pitch after 9/11.

Nothing after that.
