You have every right to be confused. I'm a fan of Trump and voted for him both time but I'm starting to move on from him and to see all the Trumpers root so hard for him but also admit that he makes some terrible decisions is a little confusing to me too. So we want him to be president again even though we know and admit he makes some terrible decisions and somehow he's wayyyy better than the "establishment" Ron DeSantis (whom this board would've run through a brick wall for just six months ago)? The way this board turns on people is astounding. I'm convinced 99% of posters here have full blown ADD. "Trump is great".... "Well he's a great president but surrounds himself with shitty people and makes shitty decisions, but he's great"... "Matt Gaetz is a patriot!".... "Matt Gaetz caved and is a cuck"... "Noem would make a great president or vice president"... "Noem is a true patriot and is the only one out there looking out for her constituents"... "Noem is a cuck arse bitch and is in bed with trannies". I can't keep up! People here are running out of people to support I am also often confused while reading this board and whenever I post anything remotely against Trump I get destroyed as if I'm some government plant or an establishment cuck. It's a little amusing and sad if I'm being honest. I'll vote for Trump if he's the nominee but my primary vote will be 100% for Ron DeSantis if he runs. I hope Ron runs.

Thank you sir.

I too, voted for Trump. Twice.

Appreciate your clear and concise thoughts and pragmatic point of view.

Why are all of the Trumpers enraged McCarthy won?

I'm confused. How many times do we have to tell these cocksuckers Trump is our best option. We're not the ones worshipping our politicians.

Most of Trumps policies aligned with us

This is what Commies don't understand. Trump's policies aligned with our beliefs, we didn't align with Trump. If he switches, or someone else comes along that can do a better job, we're okay with it. We aren't programmed to follow one person like the left.

None of us pro-Trump people have said he’s infallible; he’s just the best POTUS we’ve had in our lifetimes. Remember bump stocks; many were clearly against him on that decision. Seems like OP is likening us to the authoritarian democrats who accept every bit of mantra fed to them by their lords.

Trump's not an A student. He's a B- at best.

He's still valedictorian with plenty of breathing room.

Fauci is/was a federal government employee since the 1980s. It’s a civil servant position.

Just remember, he employed Fauci [...]. That should tell you everything you need to know.

The fact that people think this means something should tell you everything you need to know about them.

Trump:
quote:

“A lot of people ask me that question. I didn’t, right, because if you fire him you’re going to have a firestorm on the left again, as usual. I didn’t listen to him if you think about it. He wanted to keep our country open to China and I closed it. He wanted to keep our country open to Europe and I closed it. He talked about masks being no-good. While I’m not a huge maks believer but I think they have some purpose. Now he is a radical masker…I think I did the right thing because we would have had a firestorm. Less of a firestorm now if he was fired because he has been wrong so often.”

CNN:
quote:

Under federal law, Trump doesn’t have the power to directly fire Fauci, a career civil servant, and remove him from government. And while Trump could try ordering his political appointees to dismiss the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Fauci could appeal – a time-consuming process. The President does, however, have the power to sideline Fauci, keeping him away from press briefings and media interviews – as has happened in recent weeks, though Fauci has proven adept at pushing his message through different channels.

Democrats also threatened to impeach Trump if he fired Fauci.

Stop repeating "smart-sounding" ideas other people repeated from other people who repeated them. Things are not so one-dimensional.

Maybe "Trumpers" are capable of independent thought. As a lib I wouldn't expect you to be familiar with that.

At least you're smart enough to know that that would be a good thing, at least if we believed it.

This may come as a shock to most of you but during Obama Era, a GOP controlled congress repealed Obamacare just like their voters told them to do. It never passed the Senate or White House.

The hubub over McCarthy is nothing but a Jerry Jeff Walker song
