I’d move to New York now if I could afford it. Statistically, it’s as safe as the national average if not more so. Endless opportunities, places to eat, and things to do.

New York and it's not close.

NYC and I'd pick NYC over a lot of other cities, not just the shitty ones. It's the finance capital of the west. Probably the best food city in the country by a wide margin. Several pro sports teams. If you can't find something to do there you have issues.

I would jump off the mississippi river bridge.

NYC by a mile. Minneapolis is as cold as the moon. Plus NYC is probably the world’s most interesting city.
Broke in NY doesn't sound fun at all to me.

If I can't have my small town life with woods in the back yard, fresh air abundant and fishing and hunting all around me, may the Lord take me Home.

You can have all of that in New York, just go Upstate.

NYC. There's plenty of weekend getaways from NYC, not so much in Minnesota.

While all of New York has asinine taxes especially property taxes. I would definitely choose New York there are some beautiful places in New York.
New York City or Minneapolis? neither.

Pass. Too cold, and taxes are too high.
I'd visit upstate to fish though, and for the scenery. I've heard the Poconos is stunning.
