They wont give any definitive numbers because there are no set in place.
They have a matrix they go off of depending on the size of the community/area that it's going into and the size of the data center. It's a fricking play on numbers.
If you look at all the information that was put out about the one in Richland Parish it tells you that every teacher got a $50,000 bonus check. Those numbers were not 100% factual.

Do you want your freedoms? Build data centers

How many permanent jobs do these things even create?
Initially a lot of people on construction crews to build them but very few employees are needed once the data center is up and running. Will they be staffed by h1b's?

So it was a lie that was being put out?

They’re calling them “poomanent” jobs since they only hire h1bs

I do think big tech is pushing the propaganda
Look around. The same bunch of folks who just a couple of years ago distrusted big tech and blamed it for being largely responsible for the shape our country is in now seem to trust it implicitly.
Interesting times, indeed.

There are 13 data centers in the county I live in including xAI Colossus. It hasn't affected me one bit.

Almost as if some timely donations have been made

I've said for years, the way technology is going, The world is getting Big Brother no matter what kind of governments are in charge.
Big Brother at least still had humans in charge that could, one would hope, still be defeated by other humans. What we are creating is an alien intelligence. One that may surpass our intelligence in a short window of time and leave us completely vulnerable to its will. And it wont matter who "wins" the race.

If you oppose them you are a malleable bitch susceptible to media programming.

Or, he's just letting people know what he really thinks about them.

You know the only thing I've managed to learn about human nature in The Last 5 Years is that now that journalism is I can't rely on conservatives to avoid silly Scare Tactics like the shite around data centers any more than I can expect liberals every time somebody told them grandma was going to be thrown off of a cliff. Of course I've always known that a subset of conservatives were really just a different flavor of liberal. So I guess I shouldn't be surprised

Option 1:
Continue to present your argument on a complicated emerging issue that is the vast majority of the country never even considered a few years ago
Option 2:
You are ignorant and anti American if you disagree with me

Only libturds would question the cost / benefit of a giant data center in their community or why a president is using his bully pulpit to stump for an industry that donated millions to his campaign

China is the boogeyman they picked to run roughshod over any resistance to the data centers. I think Trump is hosting Xi for a feast this month to ask for Chinese business, maybe he can ask about the propaganda then.
If we don’t build data centers with flock cameras on every corner, then China will win and we live in a mass severance state
