I just have to imagine there's another avenue for advocacy that hasn't been explored yet. Did you contact your state rep (local state rep since states administer their own SNAP benefits)?

Yes I worked for the county judge for 5 1/2 years I have worked for the state legislature for 11 years. I've contacted them and their staff

I've successfully run campaigns for Republicans in Harris County for years. Unfortunately, Harris County is no longer under Republican control and a lot of the local offices have their political allegiance to Democrats who as a rule are very lazy and intellectually challenged

The programs while run by the state are administered at the county level.

I've talked to the ombudsman's office, and the department just doesn't want to pay back the five figures they would owe me if they acknowledged the mistake.. and They have on the phone but they won't push it further than that
Even as someone who you could consider an insider, the system is so broken

And because of my frontal lobe damage, although since you're such an expert on brain damage, you would or should understand that not everybody is affected in the same way, so just because you could not control your emotions, does that mean that's my neurological issues

I lack the patience for their stupidity

But I do have compassion for you're stupidity, that's why I keep talking to you

Imagine that a straight white male conservative Republican that has patience for someone who's obviously intellectually challenged

I deserve a medal

They are poor because they spend their money on drugs and cigarettes.

We should get rid of welfare all together.

I sympathize with your point of view, but that’s no solution. The only solution is to make aid uncomfortable. They have engineered extremely cheap food that has all the nutrition people need. They should just make that available all over the country. Take away all other food aid. It would be so bad that only hungry people would want it.

Do the same with shelter. Those who need shelter will go into concentration camps if they choose. In those camps they would be awakened early, forced to do calisthenics, given cheap gruel, and forced to work. Only people who need shelter would select this.

If you are employed by the government, receive anything from any government program. Not just if you’re poor.

So we're clear when you talk about my brain damage and advise me that maybe I'm emotional because of my stroke it's compassion and caring

but when I point out your issues, it's drivel

It must be very comforting to know that you're always right because you cannot be wrong

What does this mean? Property tax is one of the worst possible confiscations from citizens. Or, maybe I am misunderstanding your meaning.

Great in theory, but the government can’t run any program effectively. The bloated government contract that would be required to implement would be worse than what’s going on now.

even if we used to low estimate of $10 per test, that's an added expense of $8,471,000, not including the expense of staff to administer, read and report the tests.

That's a lot of money to make smug people feel good momentarily.

As a tax paying citizen I would much rather my money be spent on the expenses above than continue paying people who are nothing but leaches on society and live their wholes lives as such never with any intention of having/holding a job. Yet they seem always have money for weed, Newports, and scratch offs.

I think you grossly underestimate how many of these deadbeats smoke dope all day. My guess is over 75%.

Which number is larger?

$37T in fiat currency "debt"?

OR

$40T in fiat currency "debt"?

Maybe it is because I grew up in South Louisiana, but I feel this is correct.

Every. Single. Person. I knew who was on any form of welfare like early disability, food stamps, etc was on drugs or heavy alcohol. And being from South Louisiana, I knew a frickton.

Nah, maybe the first round. But after that, there would be waaaaay less applicants. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. But we still have people denying it. Most of the social welfare system today is fraud.
