The reason Putin doesn’t want Ukraine in NATO, is because he knows that Europe’s plan is to drag the US to fight Russia for them. Putin is no dummy. He doesn’t want war with the US Military. Not only would it be bad for him and Russia, it would be bad for the world.

If we leave NATO, NATO is no longer a legitimate threat to Russia, and that’s what Putin is actually worried about. He’s not trying to conquer all of Europe, he is trying to prevent the destruction of his civilization.

Leaving NATO would also be a win for the US, because then we are no longer responsible for defending the European continent. This also plays into Trump’s implementation of the Monroe Doctrine. The end goal is to consolidate our forces in the Western Hemisphere, so other nations never have our National Security in their hands.

Europe tried to pull a fast one on us, and tried to get us to fight their enemies for them, and start WW3.

This will never happen again. We will be withdrawing from NATO at some point, and it could be sooner than you think. It’s a matter of National Security.

Hahaha. What garbage. The notion that Putin invaded bc he was afraid of NATO is delirious in the extreme. Putin has long said the breakup of the USSR was a “disaster,” and he is exercising brute force to take some back. Opinions can certainly vary as to what to do about it but stay in the real world. If the US withdraws from NATO, what would deter Russia in the Baltic States?

We should leave NATO 100%. Allies and trade deals should be contingent and renewed upon relationships.

Also I was told we don’t have any munitions but Putin and Russia don’t want a war with us

Rubio noted that Ukraine is targeting U.S. commercial shipping in the Black Sea and that has to stop. That was part of the phone call. Additionally, Rubio emphasized how Ukraine officials are just “making stuff up” for some reason, that can best be considered a Ukraine political operation against the Trump White House.

Trump could change that.

The 2026 Greenland Defense Agreement signed by the U.S., Denmark, and Greenland does not newly commit the U.S. to NATO, but it heavily reinforces NATO's role in the Arctic and mandates that an independent Greenland must remain inside the alliance.

Ill play.

What deters any Latin American country from the US? A strong US defense....................perhaps Europe should give up some social programs and try it.

I would go one step further and tell Ukraine if they attack another vessel carrying American oil the United States will attack Ukraine and see how that goes

Nato being a threat to Russia had zero to do with the war
Is that why he invaded Crimea?
Has NATO ever been a threat to invade Russia
Putin and many Russians see Ukraine as a part of Russia and that goes back to the Russ and centuries of common history. You can look up where the name 'Russ' Russian comes from.
Russia also covets its coastal and natural resources.
Russia warned us since the Soviet fall to not interfere in Ukraine. We did.

Putin likes to see himself as the second coming of Peter the Great. As such, he as done great damage to Russia, its economy and its military.

He'll be lucky if China doesn't demand that he gives back the Chinese territories that Russia took over the last century. They fought a war over it in the late 1960's.
