AB InBev is doing just fine. I know a guy that works at the distribution near Baton Rouge and he said they are selling more of the other brands because people don't realize they own those too, and supposedly they are more profitable.
Is that why one of the distributors here in South Louisiana put out a statement basically begging people to buy Budweiser?

This is just groomer wishful thinking
I used to buy natty lite whenever keystone was not available but now I go out of my way to buy keystone or some other non AB product.

These companies using their brands to push liberal woke are not doing it without knowing exactly how its going to turn out. Do people really think that with all the data collection harnessed by companies today that they do not have an exact profile of all their customer group down to the most finite details? Come one! This was no mistake or accident or something they thought would go different.
This is way bigger than some Marketing exec trying to push her woke idea. Its happening across all industries and countries and the only people to have that much power are the ones who can make a winner a loser overnight and there is not a thing anyone can do about it. The top investment funds.
These are how these woke ideas that go completely against the grains of sound business are occurring. These companies are being blackmailed to bend the knee and their executives are powerless to do anything but bend the knee. They put their people on the boards to control the CEO's whose only concern is making sure the big deposits still hit their account.

NASCAR attacked their core customer base and as a result they wound up removing grandstands so there wouldn’t be as many visibly empty seats and then stopped reporting avg attendance numbers in 2014. They’ll put out reports that say they have the highest numbers in the past five years but they won’t go back further because the numbers now vs a decade ago are garbage.

I'm pretty sure New Coke was never meant to catch on. It was just a way to switch regular coke to High Fructose Corn Syrup without anyone noticing.
I do remember there being a patent issue, they basically had to change the brand, or else reveal the secret formula that made it taste different than Pepsi.
I kinda think RC in the can tastes more like old Coke, than anything else does.
As for brand-killing precedents, I think Levis is close. Plain old 505's that any guy could wear, working on anything. Now they make skinny jeans with elastic, if someone buys that by mistake they get tossed in the garbage.

Not all of them. There’s companies who don’t bend the knee and say go fk yourself.

Pretty sure it’s the container and not the formula. Everything tastes better in glass bottles vs plastic, the difference in Dr Pepper in glass and plastic tastes like two different sodas.
Some of the younger people who have never had a Gatorade in the old tough glass bottles don’t know what they are drinking.

Wendy's changing their fries seemed to kill them. They have never been the same.

I preferred their old burgers as well. They completely revamped pretty much everything for the worse.
