But bro it’s the electoral votes that are awarded to the dude with the most votes in that state that determine the thing. A mess of votes from the dead mixed in there with a whole bunch of other votes in those population centers, all seemingly for the Democrat - that’s where it can make a real and measurable difference.

Does your hypothesis make good sense when you stop to really ponder it though? It strikes me as a little bit extreme. Because consider this: if it were such a prevalent thought amongst the left that Trump is the best case scenario for them due to an easy peasy landslide victory, then why wouldn’t the left be laying real low, quietly relishing in the rather abundantly clear idea that Trump’s barreling towards exactly what they want, being careful not to throw any obstacles at all into that path to their hopeful Trump nomination….? Why instead are they obviously giving Trump such a hard time along the way to what they hope would be success for him in the primaries? How do these polar opposite premises reconcile with one another? How is this explained??
